Visa on Arrival Extension applies when foreign visitors plan to spend more than 30 days in the country. The purpose of the extension is to allow foreigners to prolong the stay for a total of 60 days of stay.

Indonesian VoA Requirements
To be eligible for Visa on Arrival for Indonesia, foreigners must fulfil the following entry requirements:
- A passport, whether diplomatic, official, or ordinary, must be valid for a minimum of 6 months
- Either a return ticket or documentation for onward travel
- Evidence of payment Visa on Arrival
VoA Extension Requirements
To be eligible to extend your Visa on Arrival for Indonesia, foreigners must fulfil the following entry requirements:.
- Passport scan (valid for at least six months)
- Recent passport-sized photograph
- E-ticket for return travel
- Application form
- Address of stay in Indonesia

What is an Indonesia Visa on Arrival?
The Indonesian Visa on Arrival is designed to enable foreign visitors to stay in Indonesia without the need for a pre-arranged visa from the Indonesian Embassy, applicable to specific countries. It is accessible upon arrival in Indonesia through the International Airport, cross-border posts and even online. This particular visa is given to foreigners who wish to stay in Indonesia, initially for 30 days, with the opportunity for a single extension allowing for another 30 days. Currently, 97 countries are allowed to go to Indonesia using VoA.
What happens if my visa expires before I can get an extension?
If your visa expires while you are still in Indonesia, you may face fines and complications with future visa applications. It is essential to apply for an extension within the stipulated time frame. If you find yourself in this situation, it is advisable to contact local immigration authorities immediately to discuss potential options and avoid penalties
What if my visa expires whilst the passport and visa is in immigration?
No overstay fee applies if your visa remains valid at the time of submission to immigration authorities.
