Relocating in Indonesia as an expat involves more than just packing. It is important to officially notify the Indonesian Immigration Office of any changes to your registered address. Legally, those with KITAS or KITAP permits must undergo Address Mutation.
The term “Mutasi Alamat KITAS/KITAP” describes the official procedure for updating your Indonesian address on your KITAS or KITAP from your previous residence to your current one. This process officially updates your KITAS or KITAP address with the relevant Immigration Office.
Established in 2016, LMI Consultancy has been supporting countless individuals in understanding the intricacies of visas, business setup, tax & accounting, and property investment in Indonesia, providing a comprehensive and dependable service
We take pride in being an ethical and innovative company that places a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service and strives to set a new standard in our industry, guaranteeing a smooth and encouraging experience for our clients
You don’t require a new KITAS/KITAP. Updating the address on your permit simply requires a Mutasi Alamat application.
Not updating your address may lead to penalties like fines or even the cancellation of your residency permit.
It’s best to refrain from travelling while your application is being processed. To handle your urgent move and mutation, talk to your professional consultant about the best course of action.
