Single Entry Visa Singapore

As a leading business hub in Southeast Asia, Singapore is a prime destination for foreign entrepreneurs and investors.

For foreigners residing in Indonesia, a well-prepared Singapore Visa application is essential for a smooth and hassle-free journey. At LMI Consultancy, our experienced visa specialists provide professional assistance for your Single Entry Visa to Singapore, ensuring compliance with all requirements while minimising processing time.

What is Singapore Visa and who is it for?

A Singapore Single Entry Visa allows foreign nationals to visit Singapore for tourism, family visits, or business trips (without remuneration). This visa is valid for up to 30 days and must be used within 63 days from the date of issuance.

Once the visa holder departs from Singapore, the Single Entry Visa is automatically revoked, even if the validity period remains. For frequent travellers, a Multiple Entry Visa is available, offering a validity period of up to two years, with a maximum stay of 30 days per visit.

Who needs a Visa to Enter Singapore?

Foreign nationals who seek entry into Singapore using a non-Indonesian passport, even if they stay in Jakarta, Bali, or anywhere in Indonesia, may require a visa to travel depending on their nationality.

Travellers who are not part of Singapore’s visa-free arrangements such as some South Asian, Middle Eastern, and African countries, must be holders of a valid visa before arriving in Singapore. In some cases, travellers using Singapore as a stopover may require a transit facility if they do not meet the visa-free entry conditions.

For those residing in Indonesia with non-Indonesian citizenship, it is essential to check Singapore’s entry requirements via ICA or consult with an authorised visa agent to determine if a visa to enter Singapore is necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Indonesians need visit visas to Singapore?

No. Indonesian passport holders do not require a visa to enter Singapore for short visits. As part of the ASEAN agreement, Indonesians are allowed to enter Singapore without a visa and will be granted a Visit Pass upon arrival at the immigration checkpoint.

The Visit Pass allows for a period of stay granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, typically up to 30 days, although the final duration is at the discretion of Singapore’s Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

How long is the processing time for my Singapore Visa application?

The standard processing time for a Singapore visa is typically 3 to 5 working days, not including the day of submission, weekends, or public holidays. However, processing can vary depending on your entry requirements and whether additional documents are requested by ICA.

To avoid delays, it is recommended to apply through an authorised visa agent such as LMI Consultancy, especially if you’re applying from within Indonesia. Whether you stay in Singapore for tourism, business, or transit, working with a reliable agent ensures that your visa application meets all the latest requirements efficiently.
