What is Single Entry UAE Visit Visa and who is it for?

This visa is available to Indonesian passport holders visiting the UAE for tourism, business (without remuneration), or to visit family and friends.

The visa has an entry validity of 58 days from the issue date, meaning travellers must enter the UAE before the expiry date stated on the visa. Once inside the country, visitors can stay for up to 30 days per visit. The stay validity can be extended twice for an additional 30 days each, offering flexibility for those needing a longer stay.

It’s important to note that this is a single-entry visa, meaning it is automatically revoked once the holder leaves the UAE, even if the validity period has not yet expired.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I stay for consecutively 60 days without extending my Long Term Single Entry Tourist Visa?

No, you cannot stay for 60 consecutive days in the UAE without extending your Long Term Single Entry Tourist Visa. This type of Dubai Visa typically allows a stay of up to 30 days from the date of entry, not from the date of issue. While the visa is valid for 30 days from the date of issue (meaning you must enter the UAE within that time), the maximum stay is limited unless a valid extension is applied.

If you wish to stay longer, you must apply for an extension several working days before your visa expires to avoid penalties or overstaying. It’s highly recommended to plan your itinerary accordingly and consult with visa experts like LMI Consultancy for assistance with the Dubai Visa process.

What is AED?

AED stands for Arab Emirates Dirham, which is the official currency of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is commonly used in all transactions within the UAE, including visa fees, accommodation, transportation, and general daily expenses. The currency code is AED, and it is also sometimes referred to as Dh or Dhs.

Can I convert a transit visa into another entry permit?

No, you cannot convert a transit visa into another UAE entry permit. According to the latest UAE visa information and regulations, all transit visas are non-convertible and non-extendable.

If you wish to stay longer or change your visa type (e.g., tourist, business, or employment visa), you must exit the country and apply for a new visa online or through authorized channels.

For updated procedures and compliant application support, it’s best to consult with LMI Consultancy or verify the latest requirements directly through the UAE Embassy or official immigration sources.
