What is it and who is it for?

A Double Entry Visa allows travelers to visit South Korea twice within its validity period for purposes such as official government activities, tourism, social and cultural events, sports, business, commercial activities, family visits, journalism, or transit. This visa does not permit paid employment.

The visa is issued for 180 days, with each stay limited to less than 90 days. Once the two permitted entries have been used or the traveler departs from South Korea, the visa automatically becomes invalid—even if its validity period has not yet expired.
