Single Entry Pre-Investment Visa

Single Entry Performer Visa
The Single Entry Performer Visa allows artists, musicians, entertainers, and performers to legally enter Indonesia for approved performances and cultural events.
Indonesia Visa on Arrival (VoA)
The Visa on Arrival (VoA) is issued upon arrival at designated Indonesian airports and seaports for eligible travellers visiting Indonesia for tourism or short-term business activities. The visa is initially valid for 30 days and may be extended once for an additional 30 days.

In addition to supporting business activities, an Investor KITAS can make it easier to open a local bank account, purchase or lease property where permitted under Indonesian regulations, and access other administrative services available to long-term residents.
Work Visa (KITAS)
A Work KITAS enables foreign professionals to legally live and work in Indonesia under the sponsorship of an Indonesian company. Before commencing employment, the sponsoring company must obtain the necessary manpower approvals and immigration permits in accordance with Indonesian regulations.
Once approved, the Work KITAS allows eligible foreign employees to relocate to Indonesia, with the visa issuance process generally coordinated through the relevant Indonesian Embassy or Consulate before arrival.
Dependent Visa (KITAS)
A Dependent KITAS allows the spouse and children of a KITAS holder to stay in Indonesia without needing a separate work permit.

What is the maximum duration for extending a Single Entry Visa in Indonesia?
A Single Entry Visa can be extended twice, with each extension granting an additional 60 days. This allows the visa holder to remain in Indonesia for a maximum total stay of 180 days, depending on the visa category and approval by the Directorate General of Immigration.

What happens if my visa expires before I can obtain an extension?
If your visa to Indonesia expires while you are still in the country, you may be subject to administrative fines, overstay penalties, and complications affecting future immigration applications.
Visa holders should submit their extension application before the visa expires. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from doing so, contact the nearest Indonesian Immigration Office immediately to discuss your options and minimise potential penalties.
Can I change from a Single Entry Visa to a Multiple Entry Visa while in Indonesia?
No. A Single Entry Visa cannot be converted into a Multiple Entry Visa while you remain in Indonesia.
If your future travel plans require multiple entries—for example, to regularly attend business meetings, a conference, or regional events—you must apply for a new Multiple Entry Visa from outside Indonesia. The appropriate visa category will depend on the purpose of your visit and your intended activities.
Can I obtain an e-Visa before I travel to Indonesia?
Yes. Eligible foreign nationals may obtain an e-Visa (electronic visa) before departing for Indonesia, depending on their nationality and the type of visa required.
Applying before you travel to Indonesia can simplify your arrival process and reduce waiting times at designated ports of entry.
Can I work in Indonesia with a Single Entry Visa or Visitor Visa?
No. A Single Entry Visa or Visitor Visa is intended for activities such as tourism, family visits, business meetings, market research, or attending a conference. These visa categories do not permit the holder to work in Indonesia or receive income from an Indonesian entity.
