Indonesia Tests New ‘All Indonesia’ Unified Digital Arrival Card

Indonesia is piloting its new ‘All Indonesia’ unified digital arrival card, an innovative platform designed to integrate immigration, customs, and health declarations into one streamlined system. While the scheme is not yet fully launched nationwide, testing has begun at major entry points, including Jakarta, Bali, and Surabaya, with a broader rollout expected once the system stabilises.

This shift represents a significant step toward digital transformation in border management, reducing queues, improving accuracy, and offering travellers a more efficient entry experience.

However, travellers should note that this new digital card is NOT A VISA and does not replace the requirement to secure the correct visa for entry or stay in Indonesia.

What is the “All Indonesia” Arrival Card?

On 24 July, during an official ceremony at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, the Indonesian government initiated the trial phase of the “All Indonesia” platform.

Developed as a practical solution to fragmented entry procedures, the “All Indonesia” platform consolidates previously separate processes,  including immigration, customs, and health declarations, into a single, streamlined digital portal.

“During this trial phase, we aim to identify areas for improvement and fine-tune the system to ensure that ‘All Indonesia’ operates smoothly when fully implemented,” said Minister Agus during the launch.

Emphasising efficiency, the minister highlighted that travellers can complete the online form up to three days before arrival, with the average submission taking just 2.5 minutes.

The trial period will run through the end of 2025, after which the “All Indonesia” Arrival Card will become a mandatory requirement for all international travellers entering the country.

What the ‘All Indonesia’ Arrival Card Does

Currently, arriving in Indonesia involves navigating multiple platforms, including:

  • The SATUSEHAT Health Pass (SSHP) – a health declaration required prior to departure.
  • The e-CD Customs Declaration – a digital customs form completed through the Directorate General of Customs and Excise.

The All Indonesia digital card brings these steps together into a single interface, allowing travellers to fill out one form covering immigration, customs, and health declarations, and consolidates these multiple documents into a single, quick submission.

Travellers can then fill out the form online up to 72 hours before departure, receive a QR code, and present it at immigration and customs checkpoints for faster processing.

This testing phase means that travellers may still encounter adjustments during implementation, making it essential to have expert guidance to ensure compliance with both existing and updated regulations.

What You Should Know Before Using The “All Indonesia” Platform

  • Check your visa eligibility and secure the appropriate visa well in advance.
  • Complete the All Indonesia digital form within 72 hours of your scheduled departure.
  • Keep your QR code handy for smooth clearance upon arrival.
  • Stay updated as the platform is in testing and may undergo adjustments during this rollout phase.

Do I still need to apply for an Indonesia Visa?

The answer is YES, as The “All Indonesia” is NOT a Visa Replacement.

It’s critical to understand that the All Indonesia Arrival Card is strictly a digital declaration system, not a travel permit. International visitors must still secure the correct visa before travelling, whether that’s:

Confusion between the new digital card and actual visa requirements could lead to delays, denied boarding, or even refusal of entry.
