What is an Indonesia Visa on Arrival?

The Indonesian Visa on Arrival is designed to enable foreign visitors to stay in Indonesia without the need for a pre-arranged visa from the Indonesian Embassy, applicable to specific countries. It is accessible upon arrival in Indonesia through the International Airport, cross-border posts and even online. This particular visa is given to foreigners who wish to stay in Indonesia, initially for 30 days, with the opportunity for a single extension allowing for another 30 days. If you find yourself in this situation, it is advisable to contact local immigration authorities immediately to discuss potential options and avoid penalties

No overstay fee applies if your visa remains valid at the time of submission to immigration authorities.
