Foreigners can obtain loans in Indonesia; however, this requires fulfilling specific requirements like having a Limited Stay Permit (KITAS), Permanent Stay Permit (KITAP) or establishing a PMA.
The interest rates can vary due to a lot of factors, such as how mush deposit you have, the bank you choose, whether the mortgage is at a fixed rate or a variable rate, amongst other factors.

- High-end properties surpassing designated price points are subject to a 20% Luxury Goods Tax (PPnBM).

- Property sellers pay a 2.5% sales tax (PPh).
- Corporate-owned properties are subject to a 10% rental income tax.
