Can you share with us some of your key experiences that have shaped your career as an experts legal consultant?

meet-givenia-lmi-consultancys-expert-tax-legal-consultant-in-indonesia

My career has been quite diverse. I’ve worked in procurement law at a government office, served as a consultant helping companies enter the Indonesian market and obtain their licenses, and even taken on cross-functional roles where I wasn’t just handling legal matters, but also worked as a project manager and took part in strategic planning.

I believe this range of experiences has shaped the way I work today. Being exposed to different industries and roles has given me a unique, multi-dimensional perspective. Because I’ve been directly involved in business operations, I can offer legal advice that is both practical and holistic.

What inspired you to pursue a career in law & legal services, and what has been your educational journey to get here?

It’s actually a funny story—it all started with my mom! She wanted someone in the family to fulfill the typical Bataknese stereotype of being a lawyer. So, she encouraged me to study law, and I ended up getting into Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), one of the best universities in Indonesia.

At first, I went along with it, but once I started learning, I genuinely found it interesting—especially business law. There are so many opportunities for development and real-world application in this field. I also did a short exchange program in Australia, which helped me gain a broader legal perspective, particularly in terms of how the law interacts with society.

How do you envision the future of LMI Consultancy, and what role do you see yourself playing in that vision?

I see LMI Consultancy becoming the go-to consultancy for legal, visa, and property services in Indonesia—a household name. When people think of setting up a company, obtaining a visa, or getting support with property and mortgage services, I want them to immediately think of LMI.

As the Legal and Tax Manager, my role is to help elevate the standards of our legal team—not just in terms of legal expertise, but also by encouraging a multidisciplinary approach. I want to make sure we provide comprehensive, practical solutions and services that go beyond just ticking the legal boxes. It’s about building a team that understands business, strategy, and client satisfaction.

In what ways do you believe LMI Consultancy stands out in providing market entry and corporate solutions compared to other agencies in Indonesia?

We pride ourselves on our transparency—both in how we work and in our pricing. Clients always know what they’re getting and what they’re paying for.

What sets us apart is not just our honesty, but also our proven track record. We’ve helped thousands of expatriates and businesses enter the Indonesian market smoothly. On top of that, we offer some of the most competitive prices in the industry without compromising on quality or reliability.

What services do you offer in LMI Consultancy offer and why should people work with us?

Honestly, it’s all about managing time wisely. I try to be as efficient as possible during work hours and always set clear goals for what I need to accomplish in a day. Once I’ve ticked those off, I make space for myself—to rest, recharge, or enjoy my hobbies.
