Understanding the visa requirements is crucial for a smooth journey. For many visitors to Italy for tourism, study, or other short-term purposes, a Schengen Visa is necessary. This visa grants you the freedom to explore Italy and the other 27 countries within the Schengen Area.
What is it and who is it for?
A Short-Stay Schengen Visa is a visa for various short-term purposes, including tourism, visiting family and friends, business trips (where you won’t be receiving payment), or other short-term reasons that can aid your travel to Italy and other 27 countries in Europe.
This visa allows for a stay of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.
