What Schengen Visa for France and who is it for?

For short-term travel to France and the other 26 countries within the Schengen Area, a Short-Stay Schengen Visa is the necessary requirement. This visa category caters to various travel purposes, including tourism, visiting family or friends, business activities (non-remunerative), and other temporary needs.

Understanding your Short-stay visa options is crucial for your travel plans to France

Single-Entry Visa

This visa permits a single entry into the Schengen Zone. Upon departure, the visa is no longer valid, irrespective of any remaining duration.

Multiple-Entry Visa

If your travel plans involve multiple entries to the Schengen Area within a year, a Multiple-Entry Visa offers greater flexibility. This allows for multiple entries and exits during its validity, which can extend up to five years, provided the total duration of your stay does not exceed 90 days within any 180-day period.
