Single Entry Business Visa Indonesia

The Single Entry Business Visa allows foreign individuals who enter Indonesia mainly for short business meetings.
The Directorate General of Immigration in Indonesia designed a one time business entry permit. This visa is valid for an initial period of 60 days upon entry and may be renewed twice, each time for an additional 60 days with the total validity of it being 180 days.
What Visa Holders Can Do
- Attend business meetings and negotiations
- Participate in seminars, conferences, and workshops
- Purchase goods
- Engage in social activities related to business
- Undertake negotiations and execute contracts and memoranda of understanding unrelated to commercial ventures.
What Visa Holders Cannot Do
- Work or receive income in Indonesia
- Engage in activities that require a work permit
- Check emails or perform any work-related tasks outside meetings
- Stay longer than the visa validity period without extension
- Leave Indonesia and re-enter without applying for a new visa
Visa Validity
Single Entry Business Visa grants an initial 60 day stay in Indonesia and is extendable twice, resulting in a maximum stay of 180 days.
Document Requirements
- Passport valid for at least 12 (twelve) months
- Personal bank statement with minimum amount USD $2000 or equivalent the last 3 months period
- Recent coloured photograph
- Address in Indonesia
- Statement letter from a government agency or private institution as the host of the program that explains the foreigner's activities during in Indonesia.

No.You can conduct certain business activities on a Single Entry Business Visa, but you cannot work or be employed. Permitted business activities generally include attending business meetings, conferences, and seminars or conducting market research and surveys that does not generate income.
What happens if I make money on my Single Entry Business Visa?
Engaging in income-generating activities not permitted by your visa (like direct sales to consumers or employment) is a violation of Indonesian immigration law. The consequences can be severe, including:

How do I extend my Single Entry Visa?
