Single Entry Business Visa Indonesia

The Single Entry Business Visa allows foreign individuals who enter Indonesia mainly for short business meetings.

The Directorate General of Immigration in Indonesia designed a one time business entry permit. This visa is valid for an initial period of 60 days upon entry and may be renewed twice, each time for an additional 60 days with the total validity of it being 180 days.

Can I work or conduct business on a Single Entry Business Visa?

No.You can conduct certain business activities on a Single Entry Business Visa, but you cannot work or be employed. Permitted business activities generally include attending business meetings, conferences, and seminars or conducting market research and surveys that does not generate income.

Engaging in income-generating activities not permitted by your visa (like direct sales to consumers or employment) is a violation of Indonesian immigration law. The consequences can be severe, including:

  • Visa Cancellation
  • Detention  
  • Deportation 
  • Entry Ban

You can extend a Single Entry Business Visa in Indonesia, but there are limitations on the number of extensions and the total length of stay. To extend your visa, you can visit an immigration office (Kantor Imigrasi) or seek assistance from a reputable visa consultant or agent.
